(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julianne Hough says she is under pressure from her family to tie the knot with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

The pair have been dating for two years now and are very much in love.

But Julianne told E! News that it's only natural their loved ones are asking when they will make the big engagement announcement.

"They're like any family," Julianne says of her folks. "They're cool. It's good that they're asking. It means that they like him, right?"

Ryan recently pulled a prank on Julianne during a taping of American Idol where he fooled her into thinking he was going to propose. Instead of pulling a ring out of his pocket he presented her with a note for her Rock of Ages co-star Tom Cruise.

Julianne is set to star with Josh Duhamel in the big screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel Safe Haven.

"I did it mainly because I love the character and the director, Lasse Hallstrom," she revealed. "And Josh not a bad guy to look at. He's really great."

But when asked if their chemistry is comparable to Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling in The Notebook, Julianne was resolute in her response. (C) Cover Media
