(Cover) - EN Star Style - Julianne Hough says she would love to shave her head.

The 22-year-old beauty is famed for her blonde locks, and has been experimental with hair dye since the age of 17.

The accomplished ballroom dancer says she would love to start over and go bald after years of ruining her natural hair with chemical products, but she would never be brave enough to do so.

I would never do this, but I would love to shave my head and start over and have my own naturally coloured, healthy hair, she joked. But in the meantime, Ill just try to take care of it.

Since her teenage years, Julianne has rocked every hair colour from red to brunette and back to blonde again. The star teased that she isnt even sure what her natural colour is anymore.

I was a towhead until I was probably 17 when I started dying my hair. Now I dont even know what I am, she told Us magazine.

Julianne says that when she isnt tending to her tresses or prepping for a red carpet event, her beauty routine is a fairly simple one. She did admit however that maintaining her mane is unsurprisingly one of her biggest beauty splurges.

It costs a lot of money to get your hair done its not cheap but you dont want to ruin it, and you want to go to the best person and the person whos going to keep it healthy, she said. (C) Cover Media
