(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julianne Moore has revealed she never feels confident.

The 50-year-old actress, who is best known for starring in The Big Lebowski, The End of the Affair, and Magnolia, says despite being a Hollywood veteran, she still feels slightly uncomfortable when attending big industry events.

The stunning star, who is famed for her flame-coloured tresses, also revealed there are very few Hollywood stars who are totally secure on the red carpet.

"I never feel confident! I don't know that there's anybody who does," she told the July/August edition of Health magazine. "I mean, you don't look around the red carpet thinking, 'There's a lot of confident people out here.'"

Julianne, who has two children with husband Bart Freundlich insists she won't have cosmetic surgery in a bid to turn back the clock. The American actress, who wants to grow old gracefully, believes surgery enhancements sometimes end up looking too unnatural.

"My feeling is live and let live. Some of those procedures that make you look younger, I don't know that they really made anybody look younger," she explained. "I think most of the time they make you look like you've had something done to your face."

Julianne says people appreciate her looks more because she is honest. The star, who turned 50 in December, has joked that people lower the standards of attractiveness once you hit a certain age.

"The big thing about being 50 is the bar is much lower," she quipped. "People are like, 'Oh my God, you look great!' So that's sort of good." (C) Cover Media
