Junior NTR is all set to get married to Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of the MD of Narne Estates and the owner of NTV, Narne Srinivasa Rao on May 5th, 2011. Grand preparations for the D-Day have started, as the wedding will be a high profile bash with attendance from prominent personalities from the film, as well as the political fraternity.

Junior NTR's marriage cost will be huge, as per the reports, the mandapam itself will cost around 16 crore and the invitation cards cost is around Rs. 3000 each. Volvo buses and five star hotel rooms have been booked in Hyderabad.

It was also learnt; that Lakshmi Pranathi has been doing her trousseau shopping with her mother and they have ordered for some custom made saris and purchased three saris worth 1.10 crores. These special saris are said to be woven with pure gold and silver zari and feature an elephant motif that has been expertly crafted, near the border. They bought a sari worth Rs.50 lakhs for the wedding day and two more in the range of 20 lakhs for the pre-wedding ceremonies. This is going to be one grand Indian wedding!
