(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber still finds it strange when he is "tackled" by over-enthusiastic female fans.
The 18-year-old Canadian star's fresh looks and funky blend of vocals have won him admirers all over the globe.
He is used to girls crying when they see him now and has discussed some of his more unusual moments with fans.
"I've gotten tackled by girls running at me, I've had girls have tattoos," he laughed.
"It's crazy just being able to experience the things I've experienced. Travelling and still getting the same response as I've gotten for a while now. Coming to the UK and having all the fans support [latest single] Boyfriend, I think it's just been really special and I can't wait for people to hear the album because I've worked really hard on it."
Justin's new record Believe is due out in June and is special to him because it is so personal.
The star wrote about things which have happened to him such as when he was falsely accused of fathering a baby. He also penned an ode to his mother Pattie because he is so grateful for the way she brought him up.
"She's just been a great mom and been supportive of my career. She moved all the way across the world to help support me, she's been amazing and I wanted to show her that on my album. I mean yeah, she's my mom so she's always telling me what to do," he told UK TV show Daybreak.
"I wanted to be able to write about things in my life and not be afraid of things that have actually happened. I wanted to talk about rumours and address things that I haven't been able to talk about before. I wanted to show people on this album that this is me and this is really organic."
Justin is currently dating his fellow pop star Selena Gomez. He has praised her singing talents, although fans shouldn't expect them to work together anytime soon.
"She's super-talented and I wouldn't mind working with her. I mean no, she does her thing and I do my thing and that's it basically," he said. (C) Cover Media
