(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber is set to collaborate with Kanye West on his new album.

The Canadian singer has spoken to the American rapper and producer over the phone several times to try and firm up ideas for a series of new songs they will work on together.

The 16-year-old pop star has also been in talks with singer Chris Brown and country music band Rascal Flatts about creating original material.

"Yes, Justin is working on new music," his manager Scooter Braun said in a chat room. "He's been talking to Drake about new music. [Bieber] and Kanye had a call today about a song they're trying to work on together. Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for the new album. He's talked with Rascal Flatts. Him and Chris Brown have been sending stuff back and forth to each other."

Scooter has remained tight-lipped about Justins rumoured romance with actress Selena Gomez.

However, the manager admitted he has given the singer some important advice about the best times to be in a relationship.

"Everybody wants to know something. Here's what I'm going to tell you. This kid travels a lot and I always told him, I was always like, 'You shouldn't be in a relationship unless you can give someone everything.' I know that him and the person you're asking about are really close friends and have been for awhile. As far as I know, that's what they are," Scooter said. (C) Cover Media
