(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber was rushed to hospital after having trouble breathing on the set of a television show.

The teenage pop sensation had been filming a role for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation earlier this week when he reportedly suffered an allergic reaction. The star was taken to Providence St. Josephs Hospital in California on January 12 as the cast and crew were wrapping up shooting for the day. He was given a thorough examination by doctors before they agreed to let him leave.

"He was having trouble breathing due to an allergic reaction," a source close to the pop singer told Life&Style. "His doctor met him there. He stayed at the hospital about 30 minutes and was discharged."

Justin was soon feeling better and was able to resume with shooting his role for CSI. Hes fine now and back on set, his representative told the magazine.

The 16-year-old was guest starring on the popular American television series for a second time when he had the health scare.

Justin is set to present a prize at the prestigious Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday. (C) Cover Media
