(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Long says he always tries to inject sex scenes into his movies.

The 32-year-old actor stars in the romantic comedy Going the Distance opposite his on/off girlfriend Drew Barrymore, and the movie features some rather raunchy sequences between the pair.

Justin teased that he thoroughly enjoyed shooting the sex scenes, and joked that he tries to make all his films as erotic as possible and often adapts scripts to allow for a saucy scene.

I look for things that are that sexually overt in whatever I do, and if its not there on the page I try to inject it, laughed the star in an interview with the Irish website movies.ie.

The actor admits there are some crass jokes in Going the Distance, including a particular sequence based on toilet humour. Justin insists the rude scenes arent there simply to offend, and argues they make the movie far more profound.

All of the crude stuff didnt feel like it was there just for the sake of having. It didnt feel like it was misplaced. It was honest and it was part of the context of the script, he explained, adding, It made it quite layered - poo and love, poo and love.

Justin also discussed how easy it was making the movie with Drew. The actors star in Going the Distance as a couple trying to make a long-distance relationship work, something which they experienced in real-life.
