(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Woody Allen says figuring out how to live longer is at the top of his list of things to do before he dies.
The 74-year-old director is currently promoting his new film You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, which is about a woman who consults a fortune-teller after her marriage falls apart. The title is a reference to death, and Woody says making the movie forced him to evaluate his life.
He says he has come up with a bucket list of things he wants to achieve before he passes away, and living longer is the most important item on the list.
"Yes [I have a bucket list], and one of them is live longer," the director told the New York Daily News at the You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger premiere on Tuesday night. "That's at the head of the list."
On a more serious note, Woody says he hopes he will make a true masterpiece before he dies. Despite the fact that he is hailed as one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, he doesnt believe he has lived up to his potential and hopes he will one day soon.
"You know, I've made a lot of films, but I've never felt like I really made a masterpiece, and I would love to. That would be fun, he sighed. (C) Cover Media
