'Kapoor & Sons' set for an early release next year starring young guns Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Afzal Khan it will hit the theatres on March 18, 2016.

Producer Karan Johar confirmed the news on twitter, "#KapoorAndSons...starring @S1dharthM @_fawadakhan_ @aliaa08 AND @chintskap directed by @shakunbatra releases 18th March,2016..."

KJo's favourite Alia Bhatt, who plays the lead in the flick was pretty excited while sharing the news. She wrote, "#KapoorAndSons releases on the 18th of March 2016!!! @shakunbatra @karanjohar @S1dharthM @_fawadakhan_ @chintskap Wohoooo can't wait !!!"

Following Karan and Alia, Sidharth Malhotra also took to twitter, "18th March 2016 is when u get to see #KapoorAndSons directed by @shakunbatra @chintskap @aliaa08 @_fawadakhan_ @karanjohar"

If rumours are to believed, then both Fawad and Sidharth will play writers, who are battling to prove themselves in the film.
