Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty, two people belonging to completely different genres of film-making will soon be seen working on a collaborated venture.

Karan, who was impressed with Rohit's unbeatable track record and professionalism decided to take the director on board. And hence once he was back from the schedule of his flick 'Student of the Year', the two decided to get together for a film.

It is for the first time ever that Dharma Productions has signed on an established director for a film.

Karan stated the fact that he was extremely happy about this venture and the script is still in the discussion process.

According to sources, the film will only hit the sets next year, once Rohit finishes work on his other commitments like the Ajay Devgn-Abhishek Bachchan starrer Bol Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express.

This venture of B-town's biggest producer and one of the most successful directors of today's time is sure big news!
