Filmmaker, Karan Johar has fixed his schedule for his 'Shandaar' release which is locked for Dussehra on October 22.

Karan took to twitter announcing, "#SHAANDAARonDUSSEHRA..will release on the 22nd of October,2015..@shahidkapoor@aliaa08 @foxstarhindi@DharmaMovies @FuhSePhantom."

Alia Bhatt too couldn't help but tweeted, "#SHAANDAARonDUSSEHRA .. 22nd October 2015 !!!! And it's trendingggggg." 

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, it is produced jointly by Dharma Production and Phantom Films.
