Karan Johar threatened by underworld

Karan Johar has been provided armed security after he received an extortion threat via SMS on his mobile phone from an unknown number recently.
The producer filed a case at the Khar police station and the case has been transferred to the anti-extortion department of the crime branch.
The gangster, who reportedly texted KJo, is said to mostly make his threats through internet phone services, making it difficult for the police to trace the address.

Boney Kapoor too had received a threatening call. The police have increased patrolling in the areas where the two live.
