Anushka-starrer Arundhathi is set for a remake in Bollywood. The big buzz is that Kareena Kapoor will be playing the lead in this women-centric film.

Sources said that Sonu Sood would be reprising his role as a strong antagonist in the Bollywood version as well. It may be recalled that Kareena, who has always loved doing women-oriented roles, had said in an earlier interview that she was highly impressed with Anushka's performance in Arundhathi and was keen to act in its Hindi version.

Gemini Film Circuit, who remade Three Idiots in Tamil and Telugu has bought the Hindi remake rights of this fantasy-adventure film. "Shooting will start soon and the project will be completed by the end of this year," said the sources.
