Tamil star, Karthi (Karthik Sivakumar), younger brother of Surya Sivakumar, is all set to tie the knot with a local girl from Chennai, Ranjani Chinnasamy. This is an arranged marriage and the alliance was announced by Karthi's father, Siva Kumar, who also announced that the date has been fixed for the 3rd of July this year.

As one of the most promising heroes of current Kollywood, Karthi took up acting as a career following in the footsteps of his father and brother. Earlier, there were rumours that the actor was involved with and would marry actress Tamanna Bhatia.

Ranjani is a graduate from Stella Maris College in Chennai in MA English Literature. She is the daughter of Erode Chinnasamy and Jothi Meenakshi.
