Salman Khan's bail plea hearing postponed until July 17

Salman Khan was found guilty in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case and sentenced to five-year imprisonment. The 52-year-old's bail plea was to be heard in the Jodhpur court today. But the hearing has been now adjourned to July 17 by the Jodhpur Court. It was April 5 when Salman Khan was pleaded guilty whereas his 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' accused co-stars Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan and Neelam and Jodhpur resident Dushyant Singh, another accused in the case, were all acquitted due to lack of evidence.

Moreover, Khan's bail plea was considered after the 'Kick' actor had to spend two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail. Whereas the actor is also legally permitted to shoot overseas.

Salman Khan's legal team has to wait for a month more for filing yet another bail plea awaited by the Jodhpur court. Meanwhile, he is shooting for his upcoming film 'Race 3' and he is also prepped up to be back on the small screen as a host of the reality show 'Dus Ka Dum'.
