After the super hit film 'Siruthai', Karthi signs 'Saguni' under the direction of Shankar Dayal, who has previously worked under directors like Ezhil and S.T.Sabha. There were many directors waiting for Karthi's dates and he chose Shankar Dayal from among them. Music for the film 'Saguni' will be scored by G.V. Prakash Kumar, the youngest music director in K-town.

G.V. shares his joy about this on a social network site. 'Saguni' is being produced under the banner of Team Warrior Pictures. The cinematography of Saguni will be handled by P.G.Muthiah, art by Rajeevan and editing by Anthony. The heroine and rest of the cast will be finalized soon. The film will be made with a huge budget and the shooting is likely to start in the month of April.

'Saguni' will be a commercial mass entertainer as Karthi's previous projects, sources say.
