(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kate Gosselin has reportedly returned to nursing.

The TV star's family life has been documented since 2005. She was first seen in Jon & Kate Plus 8 alongside her husband Jon Gosselin, and then in Kate Plus 8 when their marriage broke down. Both programmes follow Kate's life with her kids - ten-year-old twins and sextuplets who are seven.

Kate Plus 8 was cancelled in August and no new TV offers have since presented themselves.

According to a source close to the star, Kate is returning to work as a labour-and-delivery nurse.

"She just completed more courses to renew her license," the friend revealed to Life & Style. Kate is reportedly anxious about being able to support her brood. The 36-year-old star doesn't want to deny her family their privileged lifestyle.

"She has no clue how she'll continue to pay for the kids' private school and living expenses," the source continued.

Kate recently spoke of her desire to continue working. She vowed to do all she can to make things as easy as possible for her kids to ensure they stay happy.

"I told them I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school," she explained. "There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I'm giving it my best shot." (C) Cover Media
