(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katherine Heigl says she felt guilty for not spending more time with her daughter during the filming of her new movie.

The actress, who adopted Naleigh shortly before Life as We Know It began shooting last year, couldnt bear to be parted from the baby and did her best to take her to the set of the romantic comedy whenever possible.

Katherine admits her life became hectic after the adoption of the Korean-born baby was cleared, and she found it a challenge to balance her personal and professional life.

It was a zoo, a full on circus. Most of the time I just felt guilty that I wasnt spending enough time with my own daughter, and I was spending too much time with the triplets [who played the baby in the film] on set, Katherine revealed.

The 31-year-old beauty has since made up for lost time with 22-month-old Naleigh, according to the stars husband Josh Kelley.

Shes just got the instinct, man, he said. Shes a really, really great mom. And she keeps [Naleigh] on a strict regimen.

Life as We Know It follows the life of two people who are forced to look after a baby when her parents die. (C) Cover Media
