(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katie Holmes has revealed that she "didn't even know what sexy was."

The 33-year-old actress has reached a divorce settlement with estranged husband Tom Cruise less than two weeks after filing to end their five-year marriage.

But in an interview with ELLE magazine that was conducted in mid-May, Katie speaks in a prophetic way about how her life was changing with hints about what was to come.

The mother-of-one told the publication that she found it hard to embrace her sexuality.

"I always felt like a little girl before," she told the publication. "I didn't even know what sexy was."

But she says she's finally found the secret in embracing her womanhood.

"Anytime you feel good about yourself, you embody sexiness," Katie said. "It's almost like a power or a confidence or a secret."

And the Dawson's Creek star says she's regained her power and her ability to cope with issues.

"If something's not okay, then I make it known," she said strongly. "I will deal with things the way my mom taught us girls how to be. She stressed listen, learn, always be strong and be true to yourself." (C) Cover Media
