(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry and Russell Brand got married today.

American pop star Katy, 25, and British comedian Russell, 35, got engaged in India at New Year after a whirlwind romance.

Now US Magazine has reported that the pair has officially tied the knot in a traditional Indian ceremony, near the spot where Russell first proposed.

They reportedly exchanged vows in front of around 80 guests at the exclusive Aman-i-Khas resort near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan.

Katy followed traditional Indian rituals for the ceremony, as she has been spotted wearing a customary Indian bridal nose ring. Russell is expected to remove the ring tonight, in keeping with tradition. The funnyman also embraced the local culture by sporting a traditional Indian henna tattoo on his hand.

In addition to Katy and Russells loved-ones, guests at the ceremony are said to have included British comedians Jonathan Ross and David Walliams, with his model wife Lara Stone, and R&B star Rihanna, believed to be Katys maid of honour. (C) Cover Media
