November 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Its been more than a week since Katy Perry and Russell Brand got married to each other in a lavish wedding ceremony in India. The couple was engaged for quite some time before they finally decided to finalize their wedding plans. Recently, Katy Perry said that Russell Brand is everything she ever wanted in a husband. The California Gurls singer said that Russell Brand is an inspiration for her and she is lucky to have found such a wonderful soul mate.

Katy Perry hails from a very religious family and her father is a preacher at a church, so she had a deep connection with God from childhood. Katy recently said that her husband is a Man of God and he inspires her to be a better person. Russell Brand, the British comedian and actor is well known for his wild ways. He is also an ex-drug and sex addict who has sobered down for quite some time now.

Katy however said that Russell is extremely articulate and has a thought provoking outlook towards life as well. To Katy Perry, Russell Brand continues to be the Man of God who provides her with all the love and care that she needs. Katy Perry said that Russell is a great husband and he has the makings of a good father in him as well (shall we hear from the storks soon then?).

As for herself, Katy Perry said that she has both bad and good sides to her personality and she likes to keep people intrigued.
