(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelly Osbourne was rushed to hospital after "cracking her head open" over the weekend.

The TV star was in Miami when the accident occurred. She hasn't explained how she sustained the head injury, only writing on Twitter that she'd received medical care.

"Long story short I cracked my head open then kept passing out I have the all clear my mum came 2 get me (sic)," she wrote.

The 27-year-old didn't give any further information about what happened. However, she advised fans to tune into American TV show The Talk today for more details.

Kelly's mother Sharon Osborne is one of the hosts of the programme, so it seems she will be opening up about the incident.

The young star did take the time to thank those who cared for her when she was unwell.

"I just want 2 thank all the incredible doctors and nurses @ Mercy hospital in Miami 4 taking such good care of me u guys really are amazing (sic)!" she wrote on the social networking website.

The star was in Miami to take part in a model casting for Material Girl, the clothing line created by Madonna and her teenage daughter Lourdes which Kelly is the face of. (C) Cover Media
