(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelsey Grammer and ex-wife Camille Grammer appeared in court today to address an ongoing custody battle.
Kelsey and Camille finalised their divorce in February. Camille was awarded primary physical custody of their children in the divorce proceedings.
In June, Kelsey filed for primary custody of the children at Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Today the pair attempted to resolve issues surrounding their parental rights. This is the first time Kelsey and Camille saw each other since their official separation.
Camille arrived with her powerhouse family court attorney Neal Hersh.
Kelsey was accompanied by his new wife Kayte Walsh, whom he married in February. Kayte was not allowed into the courtroom, as the proceedings were closed to the public.
Camille is believed to be keen for the children to remain in Los Angeles. She does not want to see them move to Chicago, where Kelsey is currently based.
Kelsey partially won his battle in court today over a visitation issue, reports TMZ.
The actor wanted to take his children for six days beginning Monday while he is in Los Angeles. Camille was reluctant to allow Kelsey to take the kids because she believed it would interfere with their regularly scheduled activities like sports, dance and therapy.
The judge will allow Kelsey to take the children, but contended that Kelsey must bring them to all of their activities. Kelsey has reportedly refused to attend any of his children's activities when Camille may be involved in any capacity. Camille is directly involved in all of her children's activities.
The pair are still disputing permanent visitation rights. (C) Cover Media
