(Cover) - EN Fashion - Kim Kardashian says her debut jewellery line is inspired by “old Hollywood glamour”.
The reality television star’s new Belle Noel range of elegant earrings and necklaces will launch in January next year and is being made in collaboration with celebrated jeweller Pascal Mouawad.
Kim says she has tried to capture retro Hollywood glamour in the collection, but insists she also wants it to be versatile enough not to be restricted to evening-wear as she sees no reason why glitzy jewels should be just for parties.
“Belle Noel was inspired by the true art of costume jewellery that became popular in the 30s. My collection ranges from understated, everyday pieces to bold, lavish creations.
“I wanted to create a line where you could go from day jeans to a cocktail party effortlessly without ever having to change your jewellery,” Kim explained in a statement.
The jewellery range will comprise of four different series all designed to reflect a facet of Kim’s personality - Honey Hexagon, Glam Rock, Gold Clusters and Peek-a-Boo.
The 75-piece collection will go on sale in top department stores, specialist stores and select online stores, with prices ranging from $11-$150.
Kim has already collaborated with her sisters on a jewellery line with Virgins, Saints and Angels, but this will be the star’s first solo jewellery partnership. (C) Cover Media
