(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian has warned fans that she feels "violated" when they appear at her home.
The 30-year-old reality star and her family have earned themselves an army of admirers across the globe thanks to their daily lives being documented on shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
As much as Kim appreciates her popularity, she admits having people appear at her Los Angeles mansion can be terrifying.
"I luv 2 meet my fans,u mean the world 2 me but I please ask that u don't show up 2 my home.It scares me&I feel it violates my personal space (sic)," wrote Kim on social-networking site Twitter.
The television personality considers herself a particularly welcoming celebrity, and will always chat to fans when they encounter her on the street. That said, she draws the line when they invade her personal space.
"I pride myself in being very open & available to my fans, but the one place I won't interact or tolerate people showing up to is my home (sic)," explained the star.
Kim's fears come in the light of a recent spate of celebrity stalking cases. Last month Hollywood actress Halle Berry's alleged stalker was charged with residential burglary after he had allegedly trespassed on her property three times before being captured by her security team. Socialite Paris Hilton has also increased her security after an intruder, James Rainford, was arrested at her Malibu home.
James was arrested after sneaking into her property in Hollywood in October last year, and he also attacked Paris' ex-boyfriend Cy Waits outside court in April.
According to the L.A. police department, the intruder was arrested for violating a protective order which meant he should have been keeping 200 yards away from the heiress. (C) Cover Media
