(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian is looking forward to the "new [her]" in 2012.

The reality TV star came under fire this year after filing for divorce from professional basketball player Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage in October.

Many speculated that the beauty's wedding was a "publicity stunt" and she's faced a barrage of criticism as a result.

Kim is remaining positive about the future however, and is looking forward to seeing in the New Year.

"I'm really thinking that 2011 was a lot of learning lessons," she told US Weekly. "2012, I'm just excited for the New Year and the new me."

Despite the rather bitter ending of her second marriage, Kim is remaining confident about love. The star hasn't ruled out another potential romance, however she insists she's not actively looking for love at the moment.

"I believe in love always," she said. "I'm not looking."

Kim was speaking at Thursday night's opening of the Kardashian Kaos boutique at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. She was joined by family, including mother Kris, and siblings Kourtney, Khlo, Rob, Kendall and Kylie.
