(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian is looking forward to "winding down" for the holidays.

The 31-year old star is currently in the preliminary stages of divorce from her estranged husband basketball player Kris Humphries. The joy of the holiday season provides Kim with great tranquility during this rough period in her life.

She is looking forward to connecting with her loved ones over Thanksgiving dinner.

"I think the holidays are just about winding down and spending time with your family," Kim told People magazine at the Los Angeles Mission Thanksgiving Dinner Wednesday, where she served food to the needy.

"That's what it's going to be about this year for me."

Kim will join her family at her mother Kris Jenner's house this year. The Kardashians are planning to have a festive potluck supper.

"We're each cooking a dish, bringing it over and just hanging out," she explained.

Kim is elated to be able to bring her culinary skills to the table. She hopes her dish will go down well with her clan.

"I'm going to make the sweet potato souffl. It's really good!" Kim gushed. (C) Cover Media
