(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kimora Lee Simmons says her new fragrance spreads a message of love.

The 35-year-old American model is currently promoting her sixth perfume, Luv Me, which goes on sale in the US this month.

Kimora is proud of the scent, which boasts a musky sandalwood base and notes including apricot blossom, passion fruit, tiger orchid and tangerine, and believes the name has an empowering message.

"The name is a celebration, a call to action. It's telling you to love yourself, and telling other people in your life to love and value you. It's such a crazy time in the world right now, and I think we need to spread that message," she explained.

The gorgeous star has been chatting to StyleList, and also took the time to discuss the morals she is instilling in her two young girls. The model has two daughters with ex-husband Russell Simmons; 11-year-old Ming and nine-year-old Aoki, and she is keen for them to understand the fantastical elements of fashion.

"I want them to realise the difference between the delicious fantasy that is fashion, and real life. My kids see me come home from a photoshoot and wash my face off. They see the difference between what I really look like, and what the ad looks like. I want them to get that," she explained. (C) Cover Media
