(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kings of Leon would be interested in writing the next Bond theme if they were approached.
The American rock band has previously turned down offers to pen a song for the iconic 007 movie franchise, when asked by Daniel Craig.
The British actor, who plays the legendary suave spy, has spoken to the band on three separate occasions but they weren't interested.
Caleb Followill, who is the group's frontman, has now revealed that if Daniel were to ask again, they would welcome the opportunity with open arms.
"I've always wanted to work with strings so that would be a good excuse to do it," he explained in a Twitter chat with Vue cinemas.
The band would join a host of other stars if they were to accept the offer of writing the next theme tune. Alicia Keys and Jack White performed Another Way to Die for the most recent Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
Kings of Leon, who appear in a film documentary about the band called Talihina Sky, have also revealed the actors they would like to play themselves in a future movie.
Caleb revealed he would want to be played by Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, while Nathan Followill confessed he would love to be portrayed on the big screen by Rick Moranis. (C) Cover Media
