(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Evan Rachel Wood has said that George Clooney is "amazing".

The actress, who is working with the newly single Hollywood heartthrob on new movie The Ides of March, couldn't stop gushing about the actor-turned-director.

The 23-year-old even said that she wishes he would direct every movie she works on.

"George is amazing," Evan told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the True Blood premiere. "He's an incredible, funny, generous man and I wish that every film I worked on was a George Clooney movie."

Evan, who recently chopped off her blonde locks and revealed a sleek short crop, also revealed that she had wanted to cut her hair for a while.

The True Blood star said that her new appearance was for her personal enjoyment, rather than a movie role.

"No, it's just for life. It's just for me," she explained when asked if the cut was for an upcoming part. "It just felt right. I had my hair super long and I was just ready for a change and I've always wanted to do it and never really had the guts and I just thought, 'I wanna do it at least once, just chop it off.'"
