Film "Kollaikaran" will be seen releasing on 13th January 2012 during the Pongal festival.

"Kollaikaran" produced by Prasad Cine Artists directed by Tamil Selvan. It has Viddharth and Sangeetha Shetty in the lead and is said to be an action packed family entertainer.

Now Pongal 2012 will have three Tamil releases- Shankar & Vijay multi-starrer "Nanban" on 12th January , "Kollaikaran" on 13th January and Lingusamy’s Madhavan-Arya starrer "Vettai" on 14th January.

"Nanban" and "Vettai" have already garnered a lot of hype and media attention. "Nanban" is said to be one of the most awaited films in Kollywood as it is a remake of the hit Bollywood film "3 Idiots".

Even "Kollaikaran" promises to please the audiences. Seems like a power packed Pongal festival this year, with 3 major films releasing in Kollywood.
