Krishnamayya turns into a director

The renowned art director Krishnamayya, who worked for top film-makers such as Mani Ratnam, Priyadarshan and Ram Gopal Varma, is now turning into a director and working on a romantic comedy.

The maiden directorial venture of the art director who has worked with over 100 films is titled as 'Railway Station'. The lead roles are played by Sudeep and Sravani.

Krishnamayya said, "I gave my best to the script to prove my mettle as a director. Railway Station will be a message-oriented love story, and is bound to attract all sections of the audience."

Giving us his thoughts on choosing this title he said it would justify after watching the film, he further added, "We just shot a song number with hijras. It will be one of the highlights of the movie."

Well the title does seem like an interesting catch.
