(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Chenoweth has spoken about her head injury and revealed she is missing the cast of The Good Wife.

The actress was on the Brooklyn set of the US TV show earlier this month when she was struck by a piece of lighting equipment. She was rushed to hospital after collapsing and has since been recovering at home.

Kristin took to her Twitter account on Tuesday her 44th birthday - to assure fans she is on the mend and is looking forward to returning to the show.

"To all my fans: thank you for support and love! Doin better everyday. More to come when im Able!" (sic) she wrote, before adding a few hours later. "Sounds dramatic: but im thankful to be here. I love this life! And am grateful! GoodnIght XO

"I miss the crew and cast of The Good Wife. Love u guys. Xoxo (sic)."

Kristin has since updated followers on her progress, revealing she has been booked in for a medical check-up.

"Big doctor day today :) (sic)" the star tweeted on Wednesday. (C) Cover Media
