The 25-year-old pop star is famed for her eccentric and innovative fashion choices, choosing attire such as the infamous meat dress she wore to attend the MTV Video Music Awards last year.

The global superstar doesnt shy away from expressing herself, and even feels added pressure from her fans not to conform to fashion trends.

I do feel some sort of pressure or rather an obligation to be myself for my fans, she said in an interview with a British television show.

The singer, who modelled for Thierry Mugler last month at Paris Fashion Week, says she enjoys to mix both high-end designer pieces with high street fashion.

The style icon urges women to stay true to themselves where fashion is concerned.

A lot of my style is based on mixing vintage designer fashion with couture and street fashion. Its really all about being yourself and I feel comfortable dressing any other way, she added. (C) Cover Media
