Lady Gaga had her little monsters to take her to the number one slot in the list with a whopping sale of 5.8 million copies of her album 'The Fame Monster'. This helped her to secure her position in the 'Forbes 2010' top-earning celebrities. Lady Gaga joined the Forbes list at number 14 with the earning of $62 million, thats headed by Oprah Winfrey.

The gay and lesbian activist has twitted her excitement after 'The Fame Monster' became the highest selling album of the year. The 24 year old singer also announced that the latest about her upcoming album 'Born This Way' will be revealed on New Years Eve midnight.

Eminem followed Lady Gaga in the album sales chart with a 5.7 million copies of his rap album 'Recovery', but he his single with Rihanna Love the way you lie tops of the UKs Year end chart. The 16year old Canadian heartthrob comes in the third place with his album 'My World' that sold 5.6 million copies.

At number 4 is Lady Antebellum with 3.6 million copies being sold of 'Need You Now' and Taylor Swifts 'Speak Now 'managed to sell 3.5 million copies and placed her at number 5. With a collection of 3 million copies of 'The Gift Susan Boyle' is at number 6 and with the same sales number are 'Black Eyed Peas' with 'The E.N. D. 'and Michael Buble with 'Crazy Love'.

Sade with 'Soldier of Love' and Alicia Keys with 'The element of Freedom' wrap the number 10 slot with a sale of 2.3 million copies each.
