Seems like T-Town has more than just one role to play. From acting to directing and even composing music, celebrities these days are always ready to take a new avatar. And now we have the elegant beauty, Lakshmi Manchu who has been multi-tasking to her best.

It is heard, that she has joined the team of the Tamil movie 'Kadal' with the maverick director Mani Ratnam. The movie is slated to be a bilingual and it marks the debut of Gautham, son of senior actor Karthik, as the male lead.

The movie unit recently completed a shooting in the holy town of Thiruchendra in Tamil Nadu. The music for the movie is being composed by A. R. Rahman.
