Brad Pitt grows a beard and goes away for a few days when he's stressed.

The Hollywood star and his fiance Angelina Jolie raise six children together. Sometimes things get on top of the hunky star and he takes some time away to collect himself.

"When it gets too much for Brad, it's common for him to disappear for a few days and live like a single guy. He went to Germany, but he's apparently also been to Amsterdam. He grows a beard, wears a beanie and glasses and goes unrecognised. It's what he does when he's stressed," a source told the British edition of Grazia magazine.

Brad and Angelina are currently planning their wedding and both have been filming new movies recently. They are also trying to renovate their luxury home in France, which has apparently been causing them problems.

"It's been a very tough few weeks for Brad and Angie," the insider said. "They're under phenomenal stress juggling work commitments and hardly seeing each other."
