September 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Malayalam Director Lal Jose, who offered an out and out comedy titled 'Harinagar' last year, is now planning a new youth based movie. He was earlier planning to make a sequel of the comedy movie and had even started work on it.

Now, the director has changed his plans and dropped the idea of making a sequel to 'Harinagar'. His new project with youngsters in the lead has been titled 'Tournament 'and it is supposed to be a youthful road movie.

The storyline of 'Tournament' will revolve around eight boys and a girl. Lal is going to start shooting for this movie by the end of September. The director wants to wrap it up quickly to go in for a Christmas release. The shooting for the movie will take place mostly in Bangalore, Mysore and Gundalpet.

Lal will also produce the movie along with P N Venugopal. Surprisingly, Lal has not roped in his music director brother Alex Paul, who used to be a regular for the music of his films. This time, Deepak Dev has been assigned to score music for the new Malayalam movie 'Tournamen' Renowned Malayalam films' lyricist Vayalar Sharath will write the lyrics for the songs in the movie.

The director has always received appreciation for the varieties of topics dealt in his films. He has also been known for filming the songs very nicely.

Hope this film also gets a new treatment from this director!
