Lara Dutta will reappear in Tamil films after a long gap.

The starlet who last appeared in 'Arasatchi' opposite Arjun is to make her presence felt again with Bejoy Nambiar’s new venture titled 'David'. Starring Vikram and Jiiva, Lara will be in all three versions of David - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 

Reportedly, the film is really close to Lara’s heart since this is her first movie after her daughter Saira’s birth and Bejoy has agreed to make the schedule according to the mother’s convenience.

"Well, I spoke with her a couple of months ago, and told her she’s perfect for the character sketch. But she was apprehensive, especially since her daughter is hardly a few months old. She told me that I will have to work around her schedule and shoot when she gets free. And I gladly agreed," says Bejoy Nambiar.

'David' is the story of two men named David, one a musician and other a fisherman.
