(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lauren Conrad, 25, has been dating Derek Hough over the past few weeks but it is apparently not a serious relationship to her.

The former Hills star and the Dancing With The Stars professional have been out on dates in Hollywood and were seen kissing on the dance floor at Trousdale Lounge last week, according to In Touch magazine.

Derek, 26, apparently thinks he has found "the one" but the feeling is not mutual.

"Derek is much more into Lauren than she is into him," an insider told the publication. "She isn't so sure about him yet."

The reality star-turned-author has just come out of a three-year relationship with Kyle Howard and is said to be treating the romance more as a rebound fling.

"He's nothing long-term for her," the source added. "He's a fun distraction."

Meanwhile, Lauren is set to release her fourth novel, called The Fame Game, next April.

She is also writing a follow up to Lauren Conrad Style with a new tome called Lauren Conrad Beauty which will be a how-to guide.

It will feature diet and skincare tips as well as hairstyle ideas and make-up secrets. (C) Cover Media
