(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lauren Conrad says its fine to repeatedly wear the same garment, as long as you vary what you team it with.

The reality television star has her own clothing lines, and is currently promoting her new fashion guide called Lauren Conrad Style. She doesnt agree with designers who think people need to splash out on new clothes all the time, insisting its all about being clever with what you already own.

Its all in the styling. Dressing in separates really helps. On my show The Hills, I wore the same jeans all the time but never in the same combination, she said. My favourite jeans are BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters they come in a million washes and styles and theyre pretty affordable.

Lauren wouldnt dream of telling her fans what to wear, as she likes people to have their own style. She does think dressing for body shape is important though, and decided to release her tome after fans began asking her for fashion tips.

They always asked me questions about my style. Thats when I thought it would be really fun to write a book that answered all of those questions, she explained to Company magazine. Plus fashion is something I love to talk about! (C) Cover Media
