Liam Gallagher: Time is right for Beady Eye

21st December 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Liam Gallagher thinks the world is crying out for a new rock band - and he is going to give it one.

His new band Beady Eye contains four of the five final members of Oasis, the group Liam formerly featured in with his brother Noel Gallagher. The two siblings had a famously tumultuous relationship, but Liam has put it behind him and is now looking forward to Beady Eyes future.

The world is crying out for a great rock n roll band. It has been for ages, man. Thats why the time is right for Beady Eye. The time is right now, he told British NME magazine.

The bands new album will be released in early 2011 and is symbolically entitled Different Gear, Still Speeding.

Liam is so proud of the groups work he believes the collection even beats that of Definitely Maybe, a success for Oasis when it was released in 1994.

The musicians are better, without a doubt. Im singing as well as I ever have. And I think the tune are just as good as Definitely Maybe, if not better. Its up there, no question. Its a top f**king debut album, regardless of Oasis, Liam said. (C) Cover Media
