(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan has been allowed out of rehab to spend Thanksgiving Day with her father.

The star is currently being treated at the Betty Ford Center in California, where she checked in after failing two court-ordered drug tests while on probation. She has been ordered by a judge to stay in the facility until January 3 2011.

Lindsay has a famously tumultuous relationship with her father, and has often claimed he is the root of many of her issues. Michael Lohan has repeatedly alleged his daughter is addicted to prescription medication, which she has denied, and publicly begged her to seek help months before she eventually checked into rehab.

However, he recently visited her at the Betty Ford Center, and the pair are now planning to spend todays holiday with each other. Lindsay has reportedly been allowed to leave the clinic for the day, but must return tonight.

Sources close to the actress tell us, she's leaving her sober living facility in Palm Springs this morning to make the 2-hour drive... but she has to be back by late tonight.

The 24-year-old has arranged for a group of her friends to join her for the traditional turkey dinner, with Michael among them. It is unknown if her mother Dina, Michaels ex-wife, will also be there. (C) Cover Media
