Lindsay Lohan did not pay her income tax for 2009, it is reported.

The 25-year-old actress has seen her once promising career and earning capacity take a dip following her numerous arrests and court appearances.

But TMZ reports that the starlet owes the Internal Revenue Service $93,000 after not paying her taxes three years ago.

The official documents filed in Los Angeles show that the IRS have obtained a lien against Lindsay for $93,701.57 for her failure to pay.

Lindsay only released one made for television movie and had a few minor small screen appearances in 2009.

If she does not pay the outstanding sum then the government can seize anything that belongs to Lindsay including cars, homes and bank accounts.

Lindsay reportedly earned $700,000 recently for her nude pictorial in Playboy magazine.
