(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan is planning a "low key" party to celebrate her birthday and the end of her house arrest.
The actress, who turns 25 on July 2, has been holed up in her multi-million dollar Venice, California, rented home after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewellery store in January. She was sentenced to four months in prison but was allowed to complete the term under house arrest due to overcrowding. She began the sentence on May 26 and is expected to finish it today.
The Mean Girls star is expected to celebrate with a "low key" party in Los Angeles.
"She's staying in Los Angeles and planning a quiet birthday dinner," her mother Dina Lohan told the Daily News about Lindsay's plans.
"It will be very low key with family and close friends. And then she plans to return to her community service right away on Monday."
Dina said reports that her troubled daughter was going to be partying in the Hamptons with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson and actress Chloe Sevigny were incorrect.
"Hopefully she'll get back to New York soon to celebrate with her grandmother, who's 85 and doesn't really like to fly. But there's no party in the Hamptons," Dina stated.
Lindsay is now set to start on the 480 hours of community service which was also part of her sentence. She is still on probation stemming from her Driving Under the Influence (DUI) arrest in 2007.
She was sent back to court last week for failing an alcohol test but the judge said she did nothing wrong as her ban expired back in February. (C) Cover Media
