(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan will not be part of the upcoming John Gotti biopic.

The troubled actress was first linked to the film Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father last year, with John Travolta, Kelly Preston and Al Pacino also appearing.

There have been varying reports about whether she had landed a role and her publicist has now confirmed she is no longer linked to the project.

"I can confirm that Lindsay has not signed on to be a part of the John Gotti movie, nor is she in talks to join the cast," Steve Honig told RadarOnline.com.

"It does not look like an agreement can be made. Lindsay's representatives and film producers were unable to come to an agreement. Lindsay has the utmost respect for Barry Levinson [the director of the movie] and the producers and hopes to work with them in the future and wishes them all the best."

John has landed the role of John Gotti Sr. in the biopic, while his real-life spouse Kelly will play the wife of the late mafia don. Lindsay had been linked to the role of Kim Gotti, John's daughter-in-law.

The 25-year-old actress is currently shooting Liz & Dick, which is about Dame Elizabeth Taylor's relationship with her two-time husband Richard Burton. (C) Cover Media
