The rapper-and-actor earned himself a big kiss on the cheek for his support from wife Simone I. Smith, who presented her self-titled collection yesterday.

The celebrity, whose real name is James Todd Smith, surprised guests at the event with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the line.

I like the Infinite Love Hoop earrings. These are her logo hoops and they are really cool to me. She also has a whole other collection of diamond pieces, he told Extra.

Simone, who has been married to the star for over 16 years, revealed that apart from the glamorous gold designs, her collection also features pieces studded with black and white diamonds.

She revealed that her husband is very supportive of her business and regularly lends his opinion to help with the decision making process.

LL Cool J joked that this is why he knows so much about the female-only collection.

I hear her talking about it enough, he laughed.

His wife admitted that she finds it hard not to talk about her project. She also said that she often asks the hip-hop star for advice on the jewellery line.
