January 4, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin is again left home alone by his girlfriend American actress Mila Kunis. The duo has announced their split in the New Year after dating for more than eight years.

The split reportedly happened months back but they made it public now because Mila did not want the paparazzi to focus on her personal life while she was shooting for Black Swan, which was released in December 2010. The 27 year old actress received praises for her role as a ballerina in this movie.

The couple started dating in 2002 and was going quite steady these years. Kunis was never serious about marriage and she said that she does not find it very important in her life. However, no one thought they will break up after so many years.

A representative of the actress announced the news adding that it was an amicable and mutual decision with no mud-slinging. He added that the 30 year old Home Alone star will remain a close friend of Kunis even after the break up.

Kunis once said that she wants to have children some day but she does not think to get married for this. She just wanted a dependable and caring person in her life, who will love and care for her and her kids.

In 2006, there was a rumor of them getting engaged but they rubbished it. It seems that Macaulays irresponsible past is keeping Kunis worried about her future!

Well, we never know if they unite again to start afresh a new life.
