We all know who Karthika and Taapsee are in the south film industries. Their past films might have been forgotten, but their recent hits 'Daruvu' (Taapsee Pannu) and 'Dammu' (Karthika Nair) are just as new in the minds of the audiences.

Well, the media has bought the actresses together, but in the news that Karthika has been replaced by Taapsee in an upcoming film titled 'Madha Gaja Raja' (M.G.R.). The movie is directed by Sundar C. and the male lead is played by Vishal.

Sources say that Karthika had a difference in opinion with the director and hence she walked out of the project. But the director immediately asked for Taapsee to play the role. However, Karthika's mother denied any kind of tussle with the director stating that she opted out of the film due to date issues.

Yet again, Taapsee bags another role.
